How often should you contact your customers?

There’s all sorts of advice about how often to contact customers.¬†Some say weekly is fine. Others insist once a quarter is quite enough. What’s the best customer contact tactic?

It’s always useful to step back and apply common sense to marketing dilemmas. And think things through dispassionately from a customer’s perspective.¬†Put yourself in their shoes. Like you, your customers will appreciate¬†interesting, relevant, exciting information. But hard-selling, self-serving, trumpet blowing stuff is usually a pain in the butt.
