Make common sense savings on posh print

| November 2, 2011

Printing something posh like a full colour corporate brochure, exhibition collateral or sales stuff?

Here’s a simple, logical way to save money and minimise waste. Exclude this lot and you won’t need to reprint and recycle out of date stock anywhere near as often:

  • Time-sensitive information
  • Special offers
  • Prices

Where to put all this variable information? Put it on a separate insert. Then all you need to reprint is your insert, not the whole thing.

Originally from Middlesbrough, I lived in Brighton for many years before moving to North Devon. I’ve had a passion for words all my life and this is my twelfth year as a freelance writer. In my spare time I draw, paint, sculpt, carve wood and rock, garden, read, write poetry and enjoy long distance hiking. I sing and play the recorder. I collect modernist paintings, vintage rugs and mid-century German art pottery. I’m a member of The Poetry Society. And I am an experienced volunteer shepherd, a ‘Lookerer’.
